Design portatile per professionisti, in particolare per coloro che hanno esigenze rigorose di velocità e sicurezza, compresa l'editing video 4K. A partire dal 26 marzo 2021, è stato fornito supporto completo per Mac con chip di sicurezza M1.
Due interfacce Thunderbolt 3 da 40 Gbps, velocità di lettura fino a 760 MB/s (con SSHD in RAID 0). Compatibile con HDD SATA da 3,5" e 2,5" e SSD SATA da 2,5".
RAID hardware: RAID0, RAID1, JBOD, SINGLE; Supporta una capacità di archiviazione fino a 40 TB (20 TB x 2, in RAID 0); Connessione a cascata fino a 6 dispositivi.
Sfruttando le interfacce Thunderbolt 3 e DP, il TD2 Thunderbolt 3 supporta la visualizzazione multi-schermo con fino a 3 schermi.
La funzione di power delivery fornisce fino a 15 W di potenza per ricaricare i laptop compatibili (solo Mac, Windows non supportato). Guscio in lega di alluminio, ventola da 80 mm garantisce un'ottima dispersione del calore.
