By employing SSDs as its storage medium, the F8 SSD Plus eliminates the noise generated by multiple mechanical hard drives.

The innovative active cooling design features upper and lower convection, and each SSD is equipped with a heat sink. Additionally, silent fans and other efficient cooling features ensure the F8 SSD Plus maintains a low temperature and remains quiet, even under full load.

Compatibility

The F8 SSD Plus utilizes an innovative convection active cooling design, with heat sinks added to each SSD and multiple efficient heat dissipation tools such as silent fans added to ensure stable and efficient SSD performance even when the product is fully loaded.

The USB3.2 10Gbps interface allows the F8 SSD Plus to easily connect to USB external storage devices for further expansion of storage space. Adding TerraMaster D8 Hybrid, for example, can add up to an extra 128 TB of storage space to meet a wide range of data storage needs.

TNAS does not support connecting the D5-300 and D5-310 models for capacity expansion.

TRAID/TRAID+

F8 SSD Plus provides a 10GbE network connection and a USB 3.2 10 Gbps external expansion to allow post-production teams to edit video files online directly from the NAS. It supports a range of different operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. Once the post-production team completes a video editing project on the F8 SSD Plus, the final file can be saved to an external USB DAS (such as the D4-320) to free up NAS storage space for the next project.
