TerraMaster with Its New NAS and Thunderbolt™ 3 Series Makes a Stunning Appearance at Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition)

Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), a world-class electronics fair that attracts worldwide attention, was held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre during 13-16 Oct. 2018. TerraMaster with its new NAS and Thunderbolt™ 3 series made a stunning appearance at Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition). This fair gathered 3,900 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions and attracted more than 97,000 buyers from 140 countries and regions. The booth of TerraMaster was unusually popular. At this fair, TerraMaster mainly exhibited its high-speed Thunderbolt™ 3 RAIDs, brand-new NAS servers and rackmount enterprise-class storage servers. Its Thunderbolt™ 3 RAIDs have excellent performance, particularly the latest D5 Thunderbolt™ 3 and D8 Thunderbolt™ 3. D5 Thunderbolt™ 3 is one of the representative products in the Thunderbolt ™ 3 series. It’s suitable for 4k/6k/8k video editing and storage. It boasts a super-large storage capacity. The 5-bay D5 Thunderbolt™ 3 is compatible with 3.5-inch SATA hard disks and 2.5-inch SSDs. The total storage capacity is up to 60TB. It also boasts a lightning speed. The D5 Thunderbolt™ 3 is equipped with a 40-Gbps lightning speed interface. The read and write support attains speeds of up to 1,035 MB/s (test conditions: 5 SSDs, RAID 0 mode). With two Thunderbolt™ 3 interfaces, they also allow for daisy-chaining of up to 6 additional Thunderbolt enabled products.

Its latest NAS servers are equipped with the latest Intel master controller and the brand-new TOS4.0 system. They have smooth operation and support various applications, including AES hardware encryption, data clustering, snapshot, cloud synchronization, access management, 4K hardware transcoding, multimedia services, DOCKER and virtualization. Their eye-catching functions gave the customers present at the fair a good operation experience.

As an upgraded version of TerraMaster’s NAS server, the rackmount storage server not only has a larger storage capacity, but also has more powerful functions. It’s suitable for enterprise-class users. Stability and powerful performance are its biggest features.
