How to Install Plex Media Server on a TerraMaster NAS?

Getting Ready

Before you begin, you’ll need to sign in to your TerraMaster TOS using your NAS’s admin account. This will let you install new apps.

Installing Plex Media Server From TerraMaster app center

1. Click the "Applications" icon on the TOS desktop. This will open the TerraMaster app center.

2. Find the Plex Media Server entry in the app store.

3. Click the "Install" button in the Plex Media Server entry, which will begin the installation.

4. Once installation completes, you will have a Plex Media Server icon available on the TOSdesktop.

5. Click the Plex Media Server icon on the TOS desktop to open the application control windowin your browser.

6. The window will show you the local Plex Web App, which is used to manage your Plex Media Server.

7. Follow the instructions on the web page and begin the setup wizard for your Plex Media Server.

Tip!: Once you’ve completed the setup wizard, you can also visit plex.tv/web to quickly get to Plex Web App to access/manage your server.

Download Plex Media Server From Plex website

Download thePlex Media Server installation package from Plex website, and install the installation package manually in TerraMaster NAS app center.
